The steps before the affirmation create the energy of like, which surrounds us and resonates off into all sides of time. This adds to our ability to manifest a future that brings contentment. If we go through the workshop without recalling things we enjoy, the words won’t have much meaning. Follow all the steps!

Golden Being workshop:

2. Connect with your calming Guides through Nature. Our Guides love reaching out to us through nature. You’re never alone—they’re there with you in your favorite outdoor moments. Feeling calm and joyful at sunrise? That’s your Guide! Enjoying the soothing breeze or the sunlight filtering through leaves? That’s them lending a helping hand! They’re here to uplift and comfort us, so take a moment to look out the window and let their support give you a boost for this exercise.
3. This workshop works best when you’re filled with the energy of things that you like! Tap into pleasant memories from everyday life, like savoring your favorite tea, snuggling with your pet, or listening to your favorite song. Find what brings you joy and warmth. Experiment until you feel enjoyable tingly sensations in your body and mind, then let it flow into your upper chest and lower throat. When you speak, allow this positive charge to flow with your voice, it’s like a powerful battery, generating the energy you need to make this exercise as effective as possible.
4. Set your intention: I give myself permission to welcome into my life; compatibility, resonance, and wholesomeness. With situations, people, and my relationship with myself. I allow myself to say yes to my well-being, to life, to people who love me better than I can love myself, and to receive double of what I think I am worth. Bring me comfort, and kindness and be gentle. I invite all of this into my life now. I hand this over to my Highest Power. I hand it over to you (x3)
5. What is the name and colour of your Higher Power? I connect with the Golden Being and its Golden Light. Feel free to choose a name and color that resonates with your Highest Power. Pick any color you love in this moment—it’s your journey, so enjoy it!
6. Recharge with the energy of like, then say the affirmation below: Don’t change any words of the affirmation, only the name and colour if that’s what you prefer.

I allow The Golden Being to step back in time, on all sides of time, in all universes, alternative dimensions, and realities, to heal and protect aspects of me that are ready for change and for my highest good. Please surround my past, present, and future with Golden Light so that I can experience protection and healthy change. I give you permission to help me and to bring me ease.

Over the last few years, it has been an absolute pleasure to assist viewers and listeners on radio with KFM, SAfm radio, MatieFM – then on TV with KykNet Tussen ons and Kyknet The Cape Daily Show.

I was the resident Psychic on KFM for 2 years during COVID. Carl Wastie invited me onto his show to help lift his listeners’ spirits on Friday afternoons; it was one of the highlights of my life during this time.

Step 1: Connect with your calming Guides through nature
Before you connect with your ultimate Higher Power in step 4, you’ll need to connect with your Guides through nature. Observe your relationship with nature, for example: When I stare at the greens of nature, it connects me to those calmer, quieter emotions needed to add power to this affirmation. Affirmations said while in a fear/stress/negative emotional state never works!

When you stare at or are in nature, which element has you feeling the nicest? Is it the sky, clouds, rain, sea, wind, sunset, sunrise, or nature sounds? Think of times when nature had a soothing effect. Is this a regular thing? If you often feel calmer when hearing the waves crashing on the rocks, then this is one of your ways. The aim of this connection is to take away energy levels that might block you, such as anxiety, stress, etc. Take a moment to add the power of your Guides through nature. Bring back the Light.

Step 2: Create a sense of contentment and satisfaction through memories
You’ll need satisfying and uplifting energy to add power to the affirmation before you say it. The satisfied/enjoyable/pleasurable/content feeling is extremely important for manifestation as it adds higher energy to your affirmation. Think of a time when similar needs were being met. If this is not possible in your current circumstances because they are too unique or there’s too much fear, draw up random moments from the past where you felt content and or satisfied.

Maybe a gorgeous view, a nice swim in the lake, a pretty sunset, supper with a friend, etc. Remember that time of your life fondly, draw that feeling up inside your body, and hold onto the relaxed feeling that it creates inside you. (If you focus on the current scenario that is causing you the fear/anxiety/anger emotions before you say the affirmation, it won’t work as it’s coming from a negative space and you will feel drained.)

Good examples:
*If you’re missing companionship, remember a moment when you cuddled a cute dog.
*Remember times that feel nice. The time you went for a nice walk, had a nice warm hug, snuggled under a warm blanket when it was cold, put on super comfy shoes after wearing uncomfortable shoes all day, finally had time to read that book, rearranged your lounge and it felt so much better, etc.
*If you’re wanting some financial assistance, fondly remember random moments from your past when you found a coin on the ground as a child and bought a sweetie with it, maybe Granny gave you a lot of money for your birthday one time. Maybe the excitement of your first paycheck. Maybe the one time someone gave you a massive tip when you were a waiter.
* If you’re wanting an object, think of other times receiving an object was easy and the experience just flowed.
* Keep it simple and easy, we’re looking for innocent moments of enjoyment.

Step 3: Set a realistic intention before you say the affirmation
-An intention that I adore is: I give myself permission to welcome compatibility, resonance and then some (regarding your circumstances). May it be easy and healthy for my soul.
-Alternatively, understand the following things to come up with your own wording:
-If we ask for perfect situations or emotions (such as happiness), all we will feel is a sense of lack which is often accompanied by depression. Happiness is an extreme emotion and is not sustainable.
-Set only one intention at a time for each time you follow this practice. If you have more than one thing that you’d like to work on, that is a different intention and should be done as a separate session. Each intention needs its own unique energy to be created in Step 2.
– Avoid using words that upset or stress you out. For example, ‘Please help me find work’. The word ‘work’ could stress you out or have negative connotations. Rather ask, ‘Please help me find a source of income’.
– To intend, ‘I like receiving money.’ could intimidate you because of fear emotions based on past experiences and beliefs that you were maybe raised with. Don’t use words that bother you. We all like money, but are we scared of the word… use different words. I look forwards to seeing the numbers in my account go up. I like receiving pieces of paper, let it rain!
– If you affirm, ‘I have money’, it’s not true and your subconscious knows this so it’ll block you. Rather say, ‘Please help me to find financial satisfaction.’

Click here to see further examples. This link will take you to my page called ‘Affirmation styles’. It’s very useful to help you to understand why wording affirmations or intentions need to be quite specific. It gives examples that will help you word your intention with the most power.

3 quick examples:
‘Please help me find contentment in the workplace’. (This will be effective because you’re not asking for perfection, just improvement.)
‘I’d really enjoy meeting new people and developing new friendships. (This is easy-going, gentle, and uplifting.)
‘Please help me find a couch that meets my needs. New or second hand it doesn’t matter. (This opens you up so that your Higher Power can help you find solutions within your means that meets your needs).

Step 4: Connect with your Higher Power
Insert your preferred Higher Power name in the place of the Golden Being or keep it as is if you resonate. You may also change the colour so that it matches how you visualize the power of your Higher Being. (You may not change any other words of the affirmation as it will break its Light!)
*Very important to note, if you feel intimidated by / overwhelmed by (for whatever reasons) or have fear emotions towards the name of your Higher Power, this will not work. Rather change the name to something that you fully resonate with and that brings warmth to your inner world. Make up your own word if necessary, that works for a lot of people.
‘I allow my Higher Power to… and future with radiant (insert preferred colour here) Light’
‘I allow Source to… and future with Source (insert preferred colour here) Light’
‘I allow God to… and future with White Light’
‘I allow Vishnu to… and future with Blue Light’
‘I allow The Universe to… and future with Universal (insert preferred colour here) Light’
‘I allow Archangel Michael to… and future with Blue Light’
‘I allow my Higher Self to… and future with (insert colour here)’

Understanding the affirmation below
It’s ok to not fully understand all the phrases of the affirmation. DON”T change any words other than the name of your Higher Power and its colour. The wording took years to channel as I had to grow and develop as a Psychic to fully understand the nature of the universe and the power of words with the right emotional energy. This affirmation will have the most power if you follow the guidance. Skip any steps and it won’t work.

Do these checks before saying the affirmation below:
1. Connect with your calming Guides through Nature.
2. Recreate contentment and satisfaction through memories.
3. Remember your intention.
4. Remember your Higher Power’s name and colour (Say in the place of Golden Being and Golden Light or keep it as is).
5. Now say this affirmation below:

Affirmation
I allow The Golden Being to step back in time, on all sides of time, in all universes, alternative dimensions, and realities, to heal and protect aspects of me that are ready for change and for my highest good. Please surround my past, present, and future with Golden Light so that I can experience protection and healthy change. I give you permission to help me and to bring me ease.

Visual Representation
It helps to add to the energy of your Higher Power affirmation by doing rituals to continue the flow of this energy inside you.
*Water: As you shower, bath, or drink water, imagine that the water is sparkling with the colour that you selected and surrounding or flowing through you so that you look like you’re made of colourful sparkles / glowing with light.
*Objects: Wear and/or place objects that represent your Higher Power so that every time you see it, it’s a reminder to connect with a warm hello and fond thank you. I resonate with the Golden Being so I wear gold earrings. You could get a mug, pillow, bracelet, or even shoes the colour of your Higher Power.
*Creativity: What often holds people back from expressing themselves creatively is the fear of not being good enough. Doodle with colourful pens, pencils, or paints. Squiggles, triangles, lines, squares, circles, or random splashes of colour, it doesn’t matter. Introduce the colour of your Higher Power and just play. In my spare time, I’m very creative and love adding splashes of gold to my doodles. Then whenever I’m busy with and looking at my doodles, I’m reminded of my Higher Power and it makes me warm inside.
*Nature images: If you connect with your Higher Power through e.g. the sea, you could always have an image of the sea as a screen saver on your phone and laptop. It will create warmth in your heart.

Repetition
Something to keep in mind is that if you only say this once, it won’t work. If you have chronic shoulder pain and you go to the physio, she’ll massage your shoulder and give you daily exercises to do to help the healing process. She’ll suggest you come back in a week or two to continue the healing process. If you never do the daily exercises or go back, you essentially wasted your time and money. It’s the same with this affirmation, you need to put in the time and dedicate yourself to following the guidance in order for a healthy change to take place.
I sometimes follow this process once a day, a few times a day, every few days, or as often as I please. Follow your inner guidance 🙂
